About Alihia

My name Alihia Parker I have a 5 year old son from Pelham Ga, but lives in Albany Ga. I'm looking to further my education in the Healthcare field as an RT. I have great experience in home healthcare I took care my elderly grandmother before she passed away. I've did 90 hours of clinical healthcare work on patients in a rehabilitation center. I am familiar with taking vital signs, and charting. I enjoy taking care patients people in general that can't help themselves. I've seen and experienced quite a few things in the healthcare field as far as patients with bed sores, stomach bags, trachea and walkers. It's like my heart is so heavy for those patients and being the good person I am it kills me not to help so I feel like it's my passion. I enjoy doing it. My mom also works in the nursing field she's been in the nursing field as an RT for 19 years and is still furthering her education in the nursing field. I'm proud to say the experiences I've had/ seen working in the nursing field is my best interest.

I was trained through other nurses and doctors of how to care for her needs . Baths, medication administering, assisting with doctor visits, cooking and cleaning for her, basically I were her eyes of safe keep. When she was transferred over to the nursing home facility, I also became a volunteer companion sitter there to assist her along with other patients. I loved what i did for her as well as others without pay. It was enjoyment of being in the presence of the elderly and being able to help them when they couldn't help themselves. I love what I do, and that's helping others.
