The reason I became a private caregiver is the more I worked. I could see the joy and their pain disappearing. The client wanted to just be treated with respect and understanding. I have had the pleasure of working with Doctors and medical staff from Emory Johns Creek Hospital and local Primary Doctors. I have 20 years of experience in private home settings. I love taking care of people. It has always been a gift to help others in any medical care needed. Family included: Aunt, Grandmother, Parents

What makes me a great caregiver is that I listen to what the family needs are and I honor them. Why I became a caregiver is that my young niece was suffering with Stage 4 breast cancer. She had 3 small kids and a husband working to support them and pay for her health care tx. I left my home and went to Louisiana and lived with them for 13 weeks and became her primary caregiver and stayed through hospice until the end. I enjoy getting to know a new patient and their family, just to help with the demands it puts on a family. My greatest achievement as a caregiver was to be able to honor the wishes of my niece and nephew through storms they were facing daily.
