I became a caregiver as a teenager in high school. I would go on Saturdays to help and elderly lady diagnosed with cancer. I assisted her with meals, light housekeeping and ambulation as well as companionship. I became a Caregiver because I'm a caring person with a passion for helping the needs of others who can't help themselves. I took care of an elderly disabled lady for many years in her home until she passed away recently. She would tell me everyday how much she loved me and appreciated me for taking care of her and that I treated her as if she was a part of my family and indeed she was a part of my family. I'm a loving, kind, reliable, honest, trustworthy, compassionate, and very easy to get along with. I have a clean background. I have excellent references and I'm told this is my calling to help people in need. I visit the sick and shut in often in their homes or facilities. I look forward to helping in the care of your loved ones.
