1. I was first inspired to become a Caregiver when my mom and two older sisters became Certified Nurse Assistants. Since a small child I've always been a compassionate, caring individual. In high school, from the year 2006 until my senior year in 2009, I completed my hours of community service as a CNA trainee over games and extracurricular activities, under the supervision of both my mother and sister, at SunBridge Care & Rehabilitation for Atlanta. In 2012, I graduated from New Life Technical Academy in Hapeville, GA and became a Certified Nurse Assistant. I am so proud and thankful that I am living my calling as a compassionate Caregiver. 2. What I like most about being a Caregiver is understanding my patients, their medical conditions and rights, and doing all that I can to help them be as independent as possible if capable. My greatest qualities are promoting happiness, and providing safety and comfort for seniors. When caring for my patients I continuously think about how I would want someone to care for my own parents, so I treat them accordingly. I care for my patients in the same way that I would care for my mom or dad or expect their Caregivers to care for them. 3. My most prized personal achievement was my recent undergraduate studies completion from Georgia State University this past December 2014, in which I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English with a Concentration in Advanced Rhetoric and Composition. I will be enrolling in grad school soon.
