I believe I am a great caregiver because of the compassion I have. This is not just a paycheck to me. I treat my client as family. Being raised by my grandparents made me love working in this field. I feel I relate more towards the elderly than anyone my age. I became a caregiver at a very early age. I started helping my aunt with her son who had cerebral palsy, who later passed away when we were 16. He made me promise that as long as I am able to help someone, do just that. So I have been doing it since with 16+ years of experience. I can't see myself doing anything else. I find great pride in myself when I am able to put a smile on someone else's face.
