Being a caregiver for the past 8 years has helped me in so many ways. I decided to get into nursing when my mother became sick and couldn't do much for herself and I helped day in and day out. I saw how much of a positive impact it had on her and it made me feel great. I have worked in Hospitals, Nursing Home and Skilled Facilities, Private Duty, etc. I love what I do in helping each client I've ever worked with whether it be from recovery start and finish or just companionship and daily living activities. Taking care of someone that needs my help and undivided attention gives me joy and it lets me kno w how truly appreciate I am to help someone who can't do for themselves. ... more
