Being a caregiver for the past 8 years has helped me in so many ways. I decided to get into nursing when my mother became sick and couldn't do much for herself and I helped day in and day out. I saw how much of a positive impact it had on her and it made me feel great. I have worked in Hospitals, Nursing Home and Skilled Facilities, Private Duty, cases with Shepard center, brain and spinal injury patients. I love what I do in helping each client I've ever worked with whether it be from recovery start and finish or just companionship and daily living activities. Taking care of someone that needs my hel p and undivided attention gives me joy and it lets me know how truly appreciated I am to help someone who can't do for themself. ... more
