My name is Shandrisha Primas, I am 32 years old and I have been a CNA for nine years. I am a great caregiver because because I love what I do, I have a passion for what I do. I always have empathy for my patients. This makes it easier to relate to them. I became a caregiver because I tried other jobs and they didn't work for me. So I signed up for this CNA class at a local nursing home and I really enjoyed the class., once we started meeting the individuals they stole my heart. I've been in this field every since.. The part I like the most about being a caregiver is you have an empact on the individuals lives. They actually look to you as family especially if you work with them for a long period of time. A personal achievement I'm proud of is obtaining my CNA certification.
