My ability to stay calm under pressure helps me handle emergencies or difficult moments with a clear head and steady hands. What drew me to caregiving was a deep desire to make a positive impact in someone's daily life. I've always believed that dignity and respect should never be lost, especially when someone is vulnerable or dependent on others. Caregiving gives me the opportunity to be that steady presence and make someone's day better in real, tangible ways. I enjoy forming meaningful connections with the people I care for. Whether it's sharing a laugh, hearing a life story, or just being there in quiet moments--those personal bonds are deeply rewarding. Knowing that I can bring comfort, dignity, and companionship into someone's life is what keeps me motivated. One achievement I'm especially proud of is taking care of my mom with dementia.
