I had the opportunity to give care to a wonderful woman who had a left side (arm and leg) that had been damaged and she needed the assist of a wheelchair and a cane to transfer . Our regular routine consisted of assisting with toileting, dressing, transfer from chair to cane, walking and exercising both arms and legs. I cooked breakfast and helped her prepare lunch, assisted with her cat and routine cleaning of her bedroom and bathroom and laundry. We enjoyed each others company and many times would end our session with a card game or a walk outside. My time with her ended as my husband and I moved for a job change (for him). This wonderful family would be happy to give a reference .

I started my job at St Louis Christian College as a part time worker (as I was raising a family of 3 boys at home). My part time status transitioned as my children grew up. And for the past 5 years I have been working in a managerial spot over our college Cafeteria and Coffee House. I was responsible for scheduling, ordering and making sure delicious meals were served and health codes were adhered to. I had much social interaction with the students as well. My husband's job has brought us to Maryland.
