As a Pre-school teacher I work to prepare my kids for Pre-K. To achieve that I create lesson plans for my kids so that they can always have things to do though-out the day. In this position communication is key. I provide many possible ways to keep my parents involved in what their kids are doing. Whether its through the daily reports or having meetings after the school day is over. In the process, I was also training new employees the different job positions and how each room needs to be ran. Also helped the front office with scheduling tours to enroll new kids as well as doing the tours, helping parents understand the schools procedures, how their child will be taken care of. I also worked as an infant teacher. Helping infants learn the basic skills as well as caring for them. As the infant teacher I had to follow the lessons plans and keep up with the daily reports through an app called tadpoles. On that app I would make sure that everything was up to date so that the parents of my kids had an understanding of what their child was doing that day. I also used it to keep in contact with the parents on what their kids are learning, if they are ready to transition to a higher classroom, etc.
