I am 22 Years old and just recently moved to Columbus GA from Boston, MA. I have been a caregiver since 2014. I always knew I wanted to become a registered nurse since an early age, and becoming a CNA wasn't always a thought of mine. I first knew I wanted to become a CNA when my nana was placed in a nursing home. I would visit everyday and I saw how poorly the residents were treated by the CNA'S at this particular facility. I thought to myself if I can become a CNA, then I know there is atleast one person that will treat them right. I enjoy being a caregiver because it gives me a purpose. Everyday I wake up and go to work I'm making a difference in someones life. A personal achievement I am proud of is the time I spend helping a friend of mine gain strength to walk again after being paralyzed in a motor accident. I have a very out going personality, I carry on conversations well, I have a deep understanding of dementia. I am dementia certified I took a 7 module course during my time working in a skilled nursing facil
