Growing up and as I got older, My grandmother started developing signs if back and hip problems which resulted in a double back surgery and one knee replacement. As for me being certified, I took in the responsibilities of caring and ensuring my grandmother recovered in the most comfortable way possible. It allowed me to witness first hand what elders endure and how patience plays a large role in recovery. I obtained skills through my CNA program as well as caring for my grandmother which let me know I chose the fright career path/choice.
