My name is Julie and I have been working as a Caregiver for 3 1/2 years now. After all my years of working in the housekeeping and cooking industry, I had made the decision to become a caregiver. So many families often need a break or just want their loved ones to be cared for when they can't be there. I am a hands-on person with a strong sense of order and cleanliness. I have assisted with companionship, bathing, toileting, medication prompting, exercising, laundering, light housekeeping, light cooking, and running errands. I have some experience working with someone with early on-set dementia, Parkinson's, wound care, ambulation with gait belt. I am also CPR Certified and have recently had a TB test that was read negative. I like to keep detailed journals of my patients for myself and families, not only to keep them up to date but to help any medical staff in case of an emergency.
