I started as a caregiver 10 years ago overseas. I did childcare in Singapore for 4 years with two young boys. Loved the experience. I was hired as a live-in caregiver/caretaker for the two Chinese boys ages 4 and 7. Parents entrusted their kids to me while they are working. After two years, I finished my contract and they asked me to renew it, which I did for another two years. After my experience in Singapore, I went to Israel to be a caregiver for an elderly woman. I did it for two and a half years and went home to my country. I did another caregiving job in Taiwan for 2 years after that. I am a compassionate person. I am a hardworking and really care for my job and the person/persons entrusted to me. I get the sense of fulfillment for this job. I am currently a Dental Assistant. Been doing it for 5 years with the same dental clinic since I came here in the U.S. I am also currently in school, Chattahoochee Technical College in Marietta, in Nursing class. I am switching my career from being a Dental Assistant to become a RN because I feel that is where my heart really is.
