Hi, I'm 29 yrs old with a current CNA, First Aid and CPR license. I have several years of experience working with patients who have Dementia, Alzheimers, Diabetes and Disabilities. I have worked in Nursing Homes and Hospice facilities and I've done Home Care. I enjoy working where I have a one-on-one interaction to focus more on my patient and to better understand their needs. I enjoy and love being able to help others and do work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. I am very passionate, patient, friendly and enthusiastic and I take great pride in what I do. I try to keep in mind that getting sick and aging can happen to anyone. You're not above it so you treat people with respect and hope for the same when it's your turn. I do my job from the heart. I think money is good, but your work has to come from the heart to care for those in need to give the family rest and not stress. The elderly needs someone who is attentive, loving, patient and thorough. Someone who can assist them with their everyday needs to make life easier for them and their family. Hopefully that can be me making a difference in your families life.

I became a caregiver because of a family member who became very ill. I became his caretaker and enjoyed taking care of him even though it was a difficult time for me. He was very comfortable with the care that was provided and it was something I knew I wanted to do from that time on. What I like most about being a Caregiver is I like to see that a patient/client is being well cared for and that I am making that happen for them. I like to see the satisfaction on their faces knowing I have done a job well done. A personal achievement I am proud of is that every patient/client that I have worked with, providing care for, was very pleased with my work and they have expressed it with words of appreciation themselves and with my supervisors. I am a person who takes my job seriously and I like to be proficient in my work. I have been in the Healthcare field for 15 plus years and am very skilled in it. I like to get the job done right the first time. I can also be humorous with the patient/client when it is appropriate to make their day a little brighter. I really enjoy working with them.
