A personal achievement I am proud of is having been able to have cared after my father not once, but twice, since the age of 6. After having two heart surgeries done within a span of 8 years, I have watched and helped my biological father re-learn how to walk, talk, eat, and be able to perform day to day tasks. Simply being able to take care of the hands that took care of me has been an honor to me and motivation. All the love that I have held and poured to help keep my father grounded and going, allows for God to return to me a tremendous amount of emotional blessings. In return, God has also allowed for me to be able to assist 15 residents at a private senior living facility, and at the end of the day I'm reminded of my strength and great healing I am doing not only for my resident's needs but for my own healing and learning as well!
