I am a retired LPN who worked at St. Joseph's Hospital as a staff nurse on a medical/surgical floor with approximately 10 years experience. I have acted as a charge nurse for over 24 patients for the shift with various medical and surgical needs before I retired to take care of my special needs twins. In 2016, I returned to the workforce, working for private senior clients through word-of-mouth referrals. I was the primary care-giver for my first client who had dementia and Alzheimer's with violent tendencies. I was with her until her death. I have experience in total patient care and can provide medical transportation in my car. I am passionate about what I do because, as a trained nurse and mother of three, I feel compassion and empathy from those who need help from others. I can provide references upon request.
