I'm a 52 year old female,that has been in this field since 2004.I started out in the group homes of UCP of greater Atlanta. And later transfer to an day facility.I got into the field due to me having a family member that needed assistant . While working in this field I've found myself getting really attached to some of my clients.I really enjoy the field I chose to be in, knowing that I can seriously make a difference in someone's else's life. I currently work in a Nursing home setting. I've learned a lot working with the individuals that has Dementia and Alzheimer's. I try to give a hundred percent .The way you take care of your clients to me is how you care about your job because it's all a reflection back on you.
