From there, it was taking care of Grandma, multiple Aunts & Uncles, plus Cousins, I've been doing it my whole life. When I was married, I cared for my husband's elderly Grandparents who had dementia & Alzheimer's. I've cared for a number of folks in the Augusta area over the years. I recently went to Atlanta to take care of my Aunt, who is 91 years old, for 10 days, while my Cousin took a vacation to Greece. We had the best time looking at pictures from the old days. I believe that when an old person dies a whole library disappears. I'm Old School. I have a compassionate heart. I know what it's like to feel forgotten & unimportant. If I can just make one person feel needed, then my job is done.
