Hello I am a stay at home mom for a boy with autism transitioning back into the work field. I became a direct care provider/caregiver for a company in November 2017 working with older individuals that have mental disabilities with severe autism and dementia/alzheimer's, diabetes, down syndrom and cerebral palsy as a direct care provider/caregiver. My duties included transportation to doctor appointments and help run errands. Bathing and grooming, prep meals log in medicine in MAR. Log in coherent summary in i-pad for daily medical information and daily goals. I also have experience working as a overnight staff member in a group home with older individuals that have mental disabilities with autism/demtia/alzheimer's. Administering medicine at night and in the morning, prep meals, and housekeeping. I am CPR/FIRST AID ADULT/KID certified by the RED CROSS. I have started working on my own so I can make my own work schedule. I am currently taking care of a individual with dementia/alzheimer's part time and am looking for more hours. I am looking to work mostly day shift during the week and available to work daytime or afternoon shifts every other weekend. During my free timetime I am a painter and love art. I also love to make arts and make crafts with my individuals.
