i have a gift for interacting with elderly, i have been a caregiver for 25 yrs. last 8 yrs ive work by word of mouth. i want to work for a carin company to have some time off.I also want to say if i started a 8hr shift. 5 days a wk. as situation changed. i could stay for extended period. i can work holidays. nites etc. iam a widow...children doin great, growned,we are very close , we txt an see family day bout every 2 wks, on my day off. my experince include but not limited to the following, preparing meals,running errands meds reminder, personal hygiene, housekeepin,companionship, no problems with lifting are transfering bed 2 wheelchair etc. also ppl. with dementia,alzhimer in all stages, also CPR, feeding tube oxygen, colsmbag,care an maintence of cathrea, most proud of is famil are friends of the pt. i was caring for. said you have them eating good , takin interest in their life again. due to my faith ,blessed with sense of homour thats in good taste. an when to be firm an when to give xtra hug. and the glowin reports ive recieved an ppl. told me about recomending me to others after their family was able to care for theirseves are passed on... ive been with some from walking till they took their last breath... my last pt. passed away 3 wks ago, so iam ready to help again, they all become like family for the most part, but i still know to do what best for them, its all about them at this time in their life.....hope to hear from you soon, GOD BLess,,, p.s. 24 hr shif
