I have been a certified nursing assistant since 1993. I have worked in nursing homes, home health and hospice. I currently work as a caretaker for a couple in Sylacauga. I feel that I am very compassionate about my work. I love my patients and families. I do tend to get attached some because I genuinely care about my patients and their well being. I love being able to help people. I honestly didn't know what I was getting into when I was 20 years old but after over 20 years I wouldn't trade it for anything. I have always been told that I was in the right field of work. I have always had great reviews and compliments from my patients and their families.

I became a caregiver because I love to help the elderly and help them in there everyday life. I enjoy their company and enjoy the stories they tell and their knoknowledge. My personal achievements I am proud of is graduating highschool and going to nursing school. I am 22 and I love what I do . I am a CNA and I have been certified for 4 YEARS. I am a 22 year old female currently studying nursing at Central Alabama Community College. I have experience with care giving inside the home I also have experience working in a long term care facility. I am a people person, I love helping people and caring for them as well. My mom is a caregiver which first led me to want to try the job and I loved it from the very first patient I ever cared for. What I enjoy most about caregiving is being able to help someone who can't help themselves.

I have been working with the elderly (at the hospital and homecare -caregiver) since 2004. I received my CNA/CPR licenses in the year of 2006 I worked in the hospital and with hospice and moved onto fulltime elderly caregiver. I love working with the elderly providing loving care each day. I can provide references upon contact with present and past families. I assist clients that are still able to get around to church activities, hair appointments, doctor appointments , take them to pay bills and shopping. I assist with cooking meals in there home or getting take out food upon family request. I have bingo games for in home activities, and study the bible with the clients.
