I have experience with mental and physical health, I am very patient and determined. When caring for other you have to have the patience for trial and error and the ability to stay positive in these situation, I always remain calm positive and helpful. What attracted me to caregiver was caring for my grandmother mostly all of my life helping her with everyday living, and also my mother being a LPN and currently in school; she always inspired my passion to help other.

What attracted me to CareLinx was the opportunity to make a difference in someone else's life regularly. I worked in Healthcare settings for over 7 year's combine, spectrum Ludington Hospital and Tendercare retirement home. My primary role environmental services, housekeeping. However, I am friendly, have a keen observation skill, listen, learned simply thing's like how to help transfer a person safely, how to follow directions about mobility, and how to assist with toiletting. All of these skills I picked up made it helpful to relieve my Grandpa or my Aunt to stop for breaks in handy when I learned about hospice care for two of my Grandma's. I am comfortable with dementia, altimmers, Parkinson, MS, degenerative conditions, mental illness. I have been in hospitality for over 20 years whether its food service as server in my twenties. Or the last 6 plus year's of my mid and late thirties as I worked my way up the ladder into the Executive Housekeeping Manager position for a corporation. Although it was a wonderful experience that allowed me to grow into the Assistant General Manager Position and taught me how to efficiently run a business, oversee daily operations of staff while taking inventory and documentation of stock to place orders. I know HiPPA, how to maintain dignity and privacy. Also, I have my own PPE for working in a client's home. I am vaccinated and I know the standard for cleanliness when handling C-diff, Hep C, shingles, and some other infectious diseases. My goal is to finish all my online training through CareLinx to help provide you the nest possible service. I then intended to get CPR certified and look into as much training as I can to provide yourself or your loved one the most safe, kind, relaxed, and comfortable care service imaginable.

I have the capacity to understand what others may not be able to communicate. I am empathetic to others needs and will go above and beyond to help them achieve their needs. My communication skills are excellent even in a non-communicative environment. My passion is elderly and disabled, whether that be mentally or physically. Everyone deserves a fair chance at a good life and I want to help others succeed. I am a very hardworking person as I also have the desire to provide thoroughly for my family as well. I find that elderly and disabled persons flock to me as they feel safe in my presence and know that that isn't always the case for them.

My name is Amber, I live in Midland with my husband and our dogs! I moved to Midland around 4 years ago and I fell in love with the area. One of my favorite things about being a caregiver is that I am helping someone, in some way. Whether this be cleaning, cooking, helping with personal care or just having a friendly conversation, I know that I am needed and making a difference. I was drawn to caregiving when I saw all of the help our family received for my grandmother. I realized that I was missing something in life, and chose to become a caregiver myself.

I am a passionate caregiver who loves the work I do. I started out taking care of my ill grandmother at 17 years old in North Little Rock, Arkansas. I graduated two year ahead of my class at 16 years old in May of 2011. As soon I received my diploma, I quickly enrolled in CNA classes where I soon graduated first in my class in February 2012. I have been in the medical field ever since. My grandmother thankfully recovered fully in good health and since then I have worked in facilities and home health areas. I am an easygoing person with a bubbly personality. I love to make people laugh as well as feel comfort and peace in my presence.

I am seasoned female health care worker with 31 yrs of DCW experience from private home care to multiple bed homes for the elderly. I prefer private care because I don't have to divide my time between multiple clients as I feel clients don't get addiquite care (care facilities). It is rewarding for me to give the elderly piece of mind and quality care.

I have always felt the need/ want to help people, but more so elderly people. It's more than just a job as a caregiver, but it's who I am. I took care of my mom on hospice for a year and after losing her I realized I wanted to help families make such difficult times a little easier like hospice, caregivers, counselors did for me.
