I have 16 years of care experience. Have worked with mentally challenged and disabled. Specialize in Alzheimer's/ Dementia clients along with short/long term hospice care. Full care assistance from daily hygiene, meal preparation, medications prompting, transporting and light housekeeping. I am a non smoker, honest, respectful and reliable. I'm fully Covid vaccinated and don't have a problem with wearing a mask.

My initial interest in caregiving began when I started caring for my Grandmother who was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 1986. I saw the difference it made in her life to have someone available and willing to help her with the things that most of us are able to do ourselves. We take for granted every day that we are healthy and able to perform these tasks. It is a blessing to have someone who is available to help us with these things when we need assistance or if we are unable to do them independently. I enrolled in the CNA program and graduated from it back in 1988. In my time as a caregiver, I feel that I have seen and helped with everything from the most basic needs to the most complex. There isn't much that scares me. I am able to assist with even the most challenging clients. I have thick skin and I am not easily offended. When I accepted the supervisory position with Visiting Angels back in 2011, not only was I able to supervise a crew of approximately 65 caregivers but I had the opportunity to occasionally assist with filling in for those caregivers in the event of an emergency. Over the last several years I've had some health issues of my own that I've had to take time off to work on and recover from. My husband has a neurological condition that has rendered him disabled so I am also his main caregiver. I miss the hands on care with others and the one on one relationships that are formed when caregiving. I am very interested in helping to supplement my income while making a difference in someone elses life. I am very compassionate and I am very loving and kind. I am teachable. My grandmother when I was in high school she had a stroke and we very good care of her till she passed for 14yrs. I take the time to study my patient and get to know them. I pay very close attention to them. But I do give God all the glory because it's my heavenly father that has anionted me to do this job. I have 35 years of caregiving experience. Have taken care of patients from the age of birth to 101 yrs old. Worked with hospice care, psychiatrics hospital, parkinson's, cancer, the blind, cognitive problems, paralyzed patients, dementia and many other illnesses and diseases.
