I have heard horror stories of unkind, unprofessional, non-caring nurses that are involved with our patients, and it utterly breaks my heart. I'm a firm believer that you lived a valuable life if you positively affected at least 1 person in your lifetime and I want to be rich in experience when my time comes. I view everyone as potential family and will always advocate for the patient with their best interest in mind. There are countless good people in this world that are deserving of so much. I crave to be a part of that experience. It's my calling here on earth and my purpose being a Christian woman. I view myself as being caring, empathetic, compassionate, understanding, medically knowledgeable, and a reliable person. I believe time with nature, is its own medicine and that love can heal. I've worked in the healthcare field for 16+ years. I started out as a Certified Nursing Assistant, then worked my way to become a Certified Medication Aide. Over the last several years I also helped as Assistant Business Office Manager before later taking over as Business Office Manager at a facility I worked at. Sitting in that office working nonstop with no time to enjoy the conversation of the residents wasn't fun at all. Turns out it reminded just how much I truly love hearing stories of the elderly. Helping those who arent able to do the simplest tasks that you and I take for granted daily brings my heart such joy.

I chose the caregiving career because of my love and patience for the elderly. Caring for my great grandparents and grandparents is what attracted me to this field. Caregiving is a very rewarding job. My love and compassion would be some of my best traits

I know and firmly believe God put me on this path of nursing for its what I enjoy , Can give back and where my help is needed . I believe their are nurses and then there are exceptional nurses . If I can impact one family , one person and make the quality of life the live better then I have done my job . Nursing is not just a career it's a life long commitment and friendship to a patient .
