I began my fascination with healthcare as a child. I would polish my grandmother's white nursing shoes for her in the mornings as she was getting ready for work. She worked as a CNA at a nursing home in Lexington, VA. I remember looking at her and thinking I want to be just like her when I grow up. So as an adult I received my LPN and worked 18 years in Critical Care roles as well as skilled nursing home units in Roanoke and Martinsville to honor her memory. I've spent most of my life taking care of people because that is my passion and what I'm most proud of.

I feel like I am a very caring person and I like making sure others have what they need. The thing that attracted me most to being a caregiver is being able to help people have what they need. My biggest achievement is that I have two beautiful children!

I have been a caregiver for the past 6 years, the past 3 I have been the supervisor of a group home, before that I was a personal care assistant in the home and in the nursing facility. I thrive caring for others! I am dedicated to treating those I care for as if they are my family!

I am a compassionate and dedicated caregiver with a strong sense of empathy, patience, and attentiveness that allows me to truly connect with those I support. Growing up, I helped care for my grandparents until the end of their lives, as well as other senior relatives, which inspired my passion for caregiving and shaped my commitment to helping others maintain dignity and comfort. In my current role providing in-home care, I assist clients with daily tasks such as cleaning, grocery shopping, medication reminders, and, most importantly, meaningful companionship. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is building trusting relationships and knowing I can make a positive difference in someone's day. A personal achievement I am especially proud of is being able to support my loved ones through their later years with compassion and respect, which continues to guide the quality of care I provide to every client.

I'm an outgoing Person love to help others. I've been a Cna since 2009 and have loved My Career with it. I enjoy talking to My Clients helping them with there adls. Having lunch with them and taking them shopping and most of all seeing them smile and enjoy to see Me come knowing I do My job right and made someone happy to have someone to talk with and to help them. I'm Proud of Myself for who I am I have God in My life and I have 2 Wonderful Children and a Husband I love My Family and Friends very much.

I have been a licensed CNA for over 15 years. I have worked with a number of clients over the years. Which includes a tetraplegic for over 10 years strokes clients , clients with dementia and Parkinson's. During my 15 years I have developed a lot of various tools and knowledge to assist and help my clients. I was the nurse manager for my client who was a tetraplegic she passed away in March of 2023 . I was also the lead nurse manager for another family for 11 months. My management skills have developed throughout my career. I am very dependable and have excellent references.
