I began caregiving because growing up, I had a parent that looked to me for support. That stuck with me and really let me see how much my help supported another person to live their life more fully. I enjoy getting to know new people and know everyone has a story. I feel working with mentally disabled individuals and other illnesses has opened my eyes to how amazing people can be and how much they can shine with just a great support team.
