I am a very compassionate person who enjoys making others laugh and smile. I love to make people feel understood and accepted. This position seemed like something that I would be a good fit for based on my personality and the needs of the clientele. The thing that I enjoy about being a caregiver is being able to help others. Hello , I've been a certified nursing assistant for about 6 years now , I've worked in nursing homes in dementia units , long term care , rehab and I've Also done private one on one sitting. It makes my day knowing I've made someone's day by helping them or just by being there . Caregiving is my passion and it always be.

I have been working as a Caregiver over a 8 yeara now and I love it. You get to meet new people all the time. I work my own hours. I'm very outgoing and patient to my companion needs and listen to them My sister died at age 21 and she had cerebral palsy and epilepsy, I watched my mom take care of her as well helping my mom take care of her and it was her (Brandi)is the reason o love taking care old and young.I get great joy of helping people be happy.

I am 20 years old, and I wanted to become a caregiver because I thoroughly enjoy helping people in need. I plan to become a Registered Nurse so I can further my career in care giving. I am patient when it comes to taking care of the elderly, I am highly respectful of them and let them set the pace when there is a certain everyday living activity we are accomplishing; I do my best to encourage them and let them make decisions about their care so they can stay as independent as possible, and it is my personal goal each day to walk in with a smile on my face to ensure that my patient and their families know I am more than happy to help them in any way that I can. I am also very understanding when it comes to families worrying about certain things with their lived one(s) and do my best to assure them that I will always keep my patient's best interest at heart. I do my best to comfort families during the grieving process when their loved one(s) pass away by praying for them and telling them they will be in my prayers, and that God will be with them through the difficult time.

I have been a certified nursing assistant since 1993. I have worked in nursing homes, home health and hospice. I currently work as a caretaker for a couple in Sylacauga. I feel that I am very compassionate about my work. I love my patients and families. I do tend to get attached some because I genuinely care about my patients and their well being. I love being able to help people. I honestly didn't know what I was getting into when I was 20 years old but after over 20 years I wouldn't trade it for anything. I have always been told that I was in the right field of work. I have always had great reviews and compliments from my patients and their families.

I believe once people have overlooked my tattoos, they see what type of heart and love I have for helping people. I've been taking care of people born with intellectual disabilities for almost three years now. I left school like most kids and home schooled to help with my great grandmother and I loved seeing her being took care of properly.

I enjoy being able to help people who may have some trouble doing things on their own. I love to listen to them and have a relationship that means something to them. The most important thing to people with any kind of disability is to make them feel that they are important and that they are not a bother to have around. They don't want to be treated as a person with a disability. I love to be able to make all kinds of people feel that they do have someone to listen and care and make them feel wanted.
