What makes me a good caregiver is i like to sit down and listen to the individual and the family to find out their concerns and fears and how they want things to be. I respect all rights and will not over step my boundary. I'm a good listener and companion. I became a care giver after taking care of my grandma while she battled with cancer. It was a hard and emotional time but after she passed. I learned that we became closer and during that hard time we also had many good times. So in the end results i became a care giver to become a companion and to help others when help is needed.

I'm currently a volunteer for southern kern school district, I'm board approved I got background clearance to be with school district in rosamond, I used to take care of my grandmother who had diabetes, I'm a very trustworthy person, I can clean cook etc , I have a clean driving record as well , I'm willing to go extra miles to make my clients fell comfortable and happy .

Hello my name is Sendy pronounced (Cindy) I became a CNA/ HHA in 2012, I studied this field because of my parents as I am the youngest of my family. There is diabetes and other illnesses that made me pursuit this field, because I care for them as I care for others. I'm very patient and friendly, people say I have a calling for working with elderly people. I'm a single parent of two beautiful boys who I pray all my hard work will pay off. What do you like about being a great Caregiver? I am a very compassionate person when taking care of the Seniors, listening to them while we have our conversations, having a good laugh once in awhile, seeing them happy and listen to their history in life. That is history I or anyone would not know of because it's not in our history books in their hearts of history and their life. Being a great caregiver is to listen, laugh have a good understanding about them and their families. Why did you become a Caregiver? I became a Caregiver because I love helping others out who can't do for themselves and I love being able to help with actives that they want to do. Listening to them talk about their families and the ones they can't spend time because they live far and their families are unable to visit. I would be there to cheer them up and help them enjoy their days. What do you like about being a Caregiver? What I like about being a caregiver is enjoying a good conversation with the Senior's. Listen to their history in life. Things I would've never known. Helping out with laundry or being able to cook together, do a jigsaw puzzle or watch tv with them. Seeing the Senior's happy and content and they are always happy. What personal achievement you are proud of? Is being able to help getting families together and knowing that your are always love no matter who you are.

I have been a care giver for 10 years. Along with my full time job and now school. I am a very energetic person. I enjoy helping people and enjoy the stories that seniors have to tell . i am now working towards my degree in business. I like stubility and consistences in my life. I have a love for the outdoors as well as animals

I am a young women thriving to help our older generation have peace and comfort. My goal is to be there for others in time of need and to help them accomplish their daily activities. Companionship is my number one priority; I know we all just need someone to be there for us. This isn't only a job for me, it's a lesson because I learn from everyone that I assist and also fulfills my day as much as I hope it fulfills theirs. My greatest accomplishment has to be my communication skills and being able to really connect with the people I work with and different families I get to meet.

The thing that makes me a great care given is that I'm a very loving compassionate and patient person I've been a CNA for over 17 years and wouldn't change it for nothing in the world I've experienced all different types of walks of life in this profession the most rewarding thing about my job is the feeling that I have made someone's day a little easier
