I have 20 years of experience in the medical/nursing field. I've worked in nursing homes, hospitals, and agencies and have found that in home care is the field best suited for me. I tend to be drawn toward Alzheimer/dementia patients as I'm learning my approach in care, they tend to respond to me best. I have worked with several families and helped to restore certain independence to patients with walking, dressing, feeding themselves. I ran a restorative therapy program for over two years in a nursing facility before deciding to take a home care position with an agency.

I have 5 years of caregiving experience . I received my first opportunity working with mentally challenged youth with chaotic behaviors . I then transitioned over to help the elderly, who couldn't complete daily functions on their own . I would report to their homes and complete everyday task we take for granted as youth.
