I am confident that I am a great Certified Nursing Assistant,because I believe in giving my all to my client to make them appreciative and Happy. Becoming a CNA has given me the ability to go above and beyond the call of duty for my clients while providing services. I became a caregiver because I love to serve and help the needy. Before I started a job as a caregiver, I volunteered at the Pre-Ops of Sinai hospital in Baltimore forsix (6) hours, 3 days a week.I care about people, I am a very loving and caring person, full of empathy and I am learning so much in this chosen career from my clients. I am full of joy, I love to sing, read them poems and sometimes we dance together. I love to dress them up. We play cards sometime and some of them watch their favorite game show on T.V and cooking is also a delight to me. I am a great companion on my one -one cases because I love to be fulfilled at work too.

I have a lot of love to give. I'm a very compassionate person, which is very important in this field. I have a lot of patience, willing to learn, and have nothing but respect for those I care for. I bonded so well with my previous residents which made the job that much better. I hope I can be of help!

I am happiest and most fulfilled while caring for others. I fell in love with nursing in 1978 when I started my first job as a Nursing Assistant. I found that I was not only doing a job, I was caring for a person with an extensive life history that I could learn from. People who had family who loved them but were no longer able to care for them. I went on to get my LPN in 1986 and finally RN in 2012. I have provided care in Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Centers, private care in homes, Home Care through agencies and have cared for my patients and their families with integrity and compassion. Aging parents have caused me to reevaluate the need for flexibility and the availability to now also provide care for them. This means the typical nursing block schedule is no longer a good fit for my families needs. I will continue to provide compassionate care for others but it will look different than it has in the past.

I just like to work with the individuals that needs help, because I used to work at dementia care unit for almost 9 years here in Dassel. I just quit last August 24th 2018 and part time at AME community (group home) for 3 years now. I like communicating with the clients and help them out when they needs help and sometimes there is a challenge, but that is part of a job too. Provides the best care to the clients.
