I am very caring and compassionate about caring for others. Caring for elderly in specific made me want to be a caregiver because of taking care of my grandmother. I enjoy being able to give great care to all clients and being able to interact with different people. I am most proud of myself for being a first time college graduate in my family. Wife of 27 years, mother to 5, grandmother to 1. Work history includes home health CNA, Law Enforcement, Property Management and full time mother . Last 10 plus years I was the full time care giver for my mom who was a kidney patient (dialysis, medicine induced diabetic), auto-immune Patient which led to head and neck cancer and dad (COPD, Emphysema) before they passed. I enjoy caring for everyone, but the elderly hold a special place in my heart. Listening to them reminisce about the things they did when they were younger is one of my favorite things. They may not remember what they ate for breakfast, but watching their eyes light up when they tell me about a first love, a best friend from school or anything from their younger days fills my heart with joy. Previous experience in cancer care, dialysis care, COPD, emphysema, dementia, diabetic care and special needs. CPR/AED certified
