I have been involved in healthcare since the age of 15 , starting as a "candy striper" volunteer and worked in many areas of the hospital until of age to work in Emergency Medicine. I have been an active EMT/ Paramedic with both volunteer and career departments and taken part in evaluating home safety checks for residents. As a healthcare professional, I have worked in various hospitals and am very knowledgeable in diseases, aging process and treatments. I have a soft heart for our Veterans with several Veteran family members. I love people and enjoy conversing with elders that have so much to share.

I am patiencent and understanding and most of all I care about your loved one. I became a PCA long ago because I wanted to leave an impact on my clients. I became a caregiver 22 years ago when (at that time) my mothers employer was looking for a 'fill-in' person. I gave it a try and absolutely fell in love with what I did! I have been a C.N.A. for now 2 years. I love what I do. My great grandma is who inspired me to be who I am today i took care of my great grandma for 5years she passed away 2years ago that's when I decided to do something i enjoyed doing. I wish I would have done the schooling when she was alive so I could have took better care of her i had no idea how to take care of prevent bed sores. No knowledge at all on bed sores.. But I did i know she would be proud of me. I treat my patients as if I'm taking care of my mom or grandma. I treat others how I want to be treated. I am good at what I do i do not mind working weekends or nights i am up for any shift. I work hard and always on time.

I am currently a CNA at Riverside Doctors Hospital but am looking to get into Home Health Care. I have been a CNA for over 2 years now and love every moment of it. I have a lot of patience and enjoy spending time with people. I love being there for someone's love one when they can't be, but they know that they are being well taken care of and watched over.

As a highly competent caregiver companion, I bring a service- focused and hardworking attitude to this role. I maintain an efficient and organized work mentality as I assist in the care of several geriatric and chronically ill patients. I have an instinct for problem solving and work well independently and with little oversight. I am compassionate, outgoing, resourceful, and believe that trust and honesty are key when in a caregivers role. I was attracted to care giving due to my need of wanting to help people. What I enjoy the most is building a bond and being apart of the recovery process. My biggest achievement in care giving was being able to help my mom over a period of two years recover from her Ru in y Gastric bypass surgery. Prior to her surgery she had diabetes and kidney disease for 3 years and didn't think she would make it to the age of 40. After her surgery I was apart of the recovery process and seeing her healthy and free of diabetes and kidney disease has been the best experience and biggest accomplishment in my life. Therefore I want to continue and help others because its what I truly love to do.

Nursing has been a passion of mine for over 8 years being able to bring joy to people's lives trike makes me happy. Which is why I decided to further my career to become a registered nurse. I am currently a nurse assistant and have been providing care to private client since obtaining my certificate as a nurse assistant . Being able to form these relationships and memories with my clients is why I love what I do.
