Growing up with my grandparents, I was always learning something new. From seeing my grandmother slowly loose her ability to walk to calling 911 after my grandfather missed his step & fell. As I watched them slowly go down hill, I became helpful to them. It gave me a good feeling knowing that I was able to help my grandparents in more ways than one. From that, it inspired me to go to school to get my CNA license. To work in this field, you need to be compassionate, dedicated, & caring. Growing up with my grandparents, I have acquired those skills. This isn't just a job for me, it's not just helping someone else, your family member or kupuna become my family member or Kupuna. The most I enjoy from this job is the smile & thanks I get at the end of the shift knowing that I did my job.
