I have interacted with many different clients from patients who had a stroke to patients who were mentally challenged. I have worked 3 months with this company yet not enough clients to be consistent. I have done some housekeeping including dishes laundry cleaning kitchens and bathrooms. I also know how to physically care for a person bathe, change diapers, dress, and all personal hygiene. I would also like to add that I grew up with a mother who was injured in a car accident and I learned how to care for a parapalegic person who needed daily care. I know how to transfer, clean tracheas, feed through g tubes, also care for all her personal hygiene needs, and prepare meals for her that needed to be either chopped or puréed.

My Mother
I would help care for my mother who was physically handicapped due to a brain stem injury. That injury was acquired by a car accident and left her unable to care for herself or communicate like any other human. As I grew up around the situation,I learned many trades as well as skills in the nursing field. I knew exactly how to care for my mom as time went on. Her daily routine of personal hygiene as well as cleaning trachea site and a g tube area. When I was big enough to handle I also learned how to lift and transfer her as well. I know how to feed through the g tube and make sure that it is in the correct placing in her stomach. Continuing care for her was an ongoing learning experience for myself.
