Aloha! My name is Sheila; I've been working in the health care industry for five years. There are so many things that I love about working in this industry, especially working with the elders. I grew up watching my mother foster elders at our home, which lured me to start my journey as a caregiver. I have earned my certificate as a Nursing Assistant and am currently furthering my education. Throughout my journey as a caregiver, I've worked with elders with different specialized needs, such as Parkinson's, quadriplegia, memory care, and assisted living. I've also worked alongside hospice care and helped with the patient's end-of-life routine. As for companionship, I am patient, kind, and very easygoing. I always enjoy lending an ear to my patients to tell me their unique stories.
