My international travels have allowed me to meet many elderly people in many cultures and recognize the personal needs of our elders and how to best attend to them. I always seek out the elder persons in my community and provide a source of companionship for them, and enjoy bringing the youth to the senior centers to bridge the gap. I am proud to say my children, now almost 30 years old still recall their volunteer time at the senior centers growing up and still find time to join in community activities where they can be involved in the lives of their elders.
