I've been blessed by having a lot of patience and understanding when taking care of people. I am lucky to have a genuine spirit and truthfully enjoy taking care of the elderly. I appreciate them for their candor, their wisdom and their gentle and sometimes brazen spirit. I don't treat them like infants. I treat them like the treasured mature adults they are and speak to them like people. I am so proud that several of the family members I have worked for have told me "My Mom/Dad loves you." We thank God for you". Never get tired of hearing it.....it's what gets me out of bed in the morning ready to tackle a new and rewarding day in my career as a trusted caregiver.
