What makes me a great caregiver is that I' am very passionate about my job. I love working for others, providing the necessary care to improve the quality of life for my clients, I' am very patient, I' am a good listener, I communicate affectively, I' am a quick thinker, problem solver, and very caring. I became a caregiver to help others during a very delicate time. It is not always easy to ask for help, or receive help from anyone. This is what drives me to help others. To help them feel comfortable and cared for. I enjoy making others happy. A personal achievement I' am proud is returning to school part time to receive a social work degree.

I was partly raised of my grandparents when i was a child. And that's I think made me a good caregiver for elderly. I am fun ,caring, patient and sweet to be around I always wear my best smile . I do love cooking healthy meals as well as providing exercise with my patient. I am a Trustworthy individual looking to help anyway I can. What attracts me to be a caregiver was seeing my grandmother work as a care giver when I was younger. What I enjoy most about it is being able to make someone's day by just being there.

My grandma helped raise me for the first few years of my life and I was very close to her. She got sick with cancer my senior year of high school. I was able to help take care of her so we could keep her at home where she wanted to be. From then on I knew my calling is to help people. I was able to keep my father at home and help my mom care for him when he got sick with cancer. I am good at what I do because my only goal is make people happy and comfortable and feel they are loved and important. I miss the hands on care of working with patients. The nursing facility scene has become very much about how much money can be charged to the insurance companies in the least amount of time and I honestly just want to help people so I believe private caregiving could be very fulfilling.
