I became a caregiver simply because I love to help people. I take a lot of pride in my work and it brings me a lot of joy. I enjoy getting to know the patients and try my best to make their day even with the simplest acts. I am also a couple years from graduating nursing school and CNA had provided me with very useful experience.

I come from a family of healthcare workers from CNAs to Doctors. When I was younger, I volunteered at the local shelter. People had a lot of issues, and I'd help them with almost anything they'd need. I've been hooked on helping people since. It's extremely rewarding to help someone.

I like helping elderly. Its a fun job, challenging but rewarding. I have working in this field for many years and I am proud that so many lives had been changed, and lifted up through me. A life of 90 years old man who could not take care himself and the family were so busy, and he was able to survive for seven years. I have been caregiver and CNA for more than ten years. I have worked in nursing homes, hospital and private duty in California, then I moved to Colorado for better future, Unfortunately my family won't move there because of cold weather. So at this time I'm back to California to be together with my family and looking for a job here.

What drove me to be a caregiver is when i realized the need to serve and help others. This passion came when I lived with my grandmother who i loved dearly and as she aged i realized she needed care day by day. I automatically became a caregiver to her, a job I have come to love and perfect professionally. My reliability, patience, privacy, respect and hard work are some of my personality traits that drives me to ensure I cultivate a closer bond and be a great caregiver. seeing the satisfaction that is derived from my caregiving, gives me joy and motivates me to do my best. Psychologically and emotionally I get a blissful feeling when I know someone else has benefited from a helpful hand of care and love.

1. I became a caregiver to learn more about myself in a compassionate way and if I accomplished that, helping other would be my reward. 2. The interaction with people from different works, and the pleasure/satifaction my patient have from working with me. 3.working hard enough to be able to afford to bring my sister, niece and nephew from our country to america. 4. I am working toward acheiving my bachelors degree in nursing and i love to sing.I have enjoyed caring for my clients for the past 11 years and will continue to do so by the grace of God.

I decided to become a caregiver after recovering from a horrible accident when I was 20 years old. I received very poor care in a CA county hospital when I was hit and run over on my bicycle. I was discharged after two weeks and hadn't yet been treated for third degree burns. If it hadn't been for The ICU nurse, I wouldn't have survived. I do remember my interactions with her and one other nurse. I believe that they inspired me to want to do the same for others. Also, My older brother was developmentally challenged. I cared for him as a child and even helped him get his high school diploma and drivers license. I tutored him in english. I also gave care to my mother when she developed ovarian cancer. In the year 2000 I became a caregiver for the state operated group homes in AZ. I went on to work for Helping Hands,(also in AZ), and then became a certified nursing assistant through a Kindred facility in Sedona, AZ. Shortly after I was offered a position as an RNA after completing the course and passing my skills test. I am now partially retired and continue to work part time as a caregiver.

I am extremely passionate about helping people that are in need I also find myself to be very caring and understanding to each and everyone different types of assistance. I'm great at multitasking and under pressure I find my self to not be a panic type but more so a hands on helper and let's help make this better or fix it. I enjoy making sure who I care for is above happy with my help and definitely value the aspect of understanding their health issues. I'm a person that enjoys this career
