The one thing that makes me a great caregiver is I am a great listener and I am always paying attention. The one thing I mostly enjoy about being a caregiver is knowing I am doing something good for someone else. Even if it's something small like going to the bathroom. The one thing that really attracted me to become a caregiver is knowing I will be able to help someone live as normal life as they can. Lastly the one thing that makes me think that I can be a good caregiver is I took care of my uncle and grandma. Growing up as a teen I had to help with taking care of my grandma that had dementia and my uncle he was on hospic for 5 years.

I became a caregiver twenty years ago when my mother-in-law was ill. It is God's work, and I get fulfillment out of giving back to those who always gave of themselves to us. Being kind and patient with the needy is a feeling of accomplishment. I am a wife, and mother of two sons. One is a teacher, and the other is graduating from medical school this June.

Hello my name is Lynda Evans First I want to offer my condolences for your loved one. I understand completely as I cared exclusively for my father for 5 years with congestive heart failure, diabetes, and strokes. I don't just do care giving I am a born Caregiver. Everybody deserves respect and compassion when facing life’s challenging obstacles. I also have had medical challenges I have had to overcome and understand how important it is to be positive and stress free and not to focus on what you can't do but accentuate what you can. My clients are very happy with me and would personally ask for me to come take care of them. I even had one gentleman who was very shy about bed bath cracking up. I love and care for each individual as my own, and want them to feel the best they can in a comfortable atmosphere. I cared for a lady who started having brain surgery at 20 and she was in her 70's when I cared for her. She also was difficult to understand but with patients I learned to communicate with her very well. I have cared for Alzheimer, Stroke, Cancer, Bed and Wheel Chair bound, and much more...... ALSO: I am very organized, great on cleaning, laundry and cooking: GOOD FOOD not junk. I also do not smoke, or take any medications. I have just obtained my HHA CERTIFICATE my CNA certificate, Alzheimer/dementia along with HIV/AIDS certificate. Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. Lynda Evans

My assessment skills are excellent. I am a patient instructor in regards to medication management/disease processes. 4. I understand family dynamics and relationship building during stressful situations. 5. I am open minded, non-judgmental, appreciative of all life styles. 6. I adore pets and believe that fur friends offer much in the way of unconditional love and support. 7. I enjoy people! I am an avid student of our "humanness".
