I have had my youthful times of being youthful, lol, yet I've been giving care since I was a little school girl. Hello my name is Shereka Darlington . My personality traits and expertise that help me being a great caregiver would be helping my teammate out and also being a helping hand. I am honest wit everything I do and being patient with whome I'm caring for . Having confidence in what I'm doing in my job field no matter what Challenges I face. The one thing that attracted me to be a caregiver would be having the heart to care for others and their needs and taking on the responsibility that comes on being a good caregiver to the ones I'm caring for . Being a good organized person in my job course and being trustworthy to my client and their families. What I enjoyed most being a caregiver would be working with people into a environment I can get along with and having a one- one-one interaction with the ones I'm caring for , and I also enjoyed that I can get along with other elders . Personal achievement that I'm proud of would be accomplishing school into a career field I see myself into . I'm proud of taking the ability I have to care for the ones that are in need and still doing that now.

I recently was taking care of my grandmother who was independent living on her at the age of 94. I would always take her grocery shopping, doctor appointments and out for lunch for 2 yrs every week. She recently passed away and now I have the feeling of being there for other's who needs a great companion, to whom they can talk to as long as they need and someone who can care for them. The main thing I enjoy about being caregiver, are the conversations that I have with my patients. We talk about my life and there's, and what all has changed in such a short period of time. The personal achievement I'm proud of is getting into the medical assistant program after attempting 3 tries with my one core class that was holding me back.

I love what I do in helping each client I've ever worked with. Taking care of sick people that needs my help gives me joy in my heart and it let me know they need people to work with them that care.

I have work in many nursing homes as volunteers and as an actual CNA jobs. I love taking care of people because I've always takin care of my grandma before she passed away and that showed me that helping people is what I'm best at. I enjoy just overall helping people and making them feel better mentally and physically. The personal achievement that I am proud of is just overall becoming an CNA and currently studying to become an RN.

Hi, my name is Cheryl Mitchell and I have been a caregiver for over 8 years. Something I would like for you to know about my personality is I love interacting and learning new things and people. I enjoy the conversations and hearing about our history. I got into being a caregiver because I love helping. A lot of people don't have family at all or they don't live close enough. It's my goal to make everyone I take care of to feel like they have somebody. To see them smile and when they say thank you or tell me they love me, I made a difference that day. I am scheduled to go back to school to get my nursing degree this summer. I look forward to working with you in the near future.

I enjoy being able to make a difference in some one's life and how it makes then feel to know to know that they are truly loved and tossed them smile and to be able to listen to them when they feel that there loved ones are to busy to be there or they feel like they don't want to be a burden. I just feel this is my calling .

My listening skills go past my ears and mind. As a caregiver I listen with my heart. My upbeat attitude has a mission to make one smile. I became a caregiver as a result of seeing my mother taking care of grandpa due to an amputated leg. I got hired at a nursing home in dietary and my coworkers advised me to nurse. I did and fell in love. There is something special about helping someone and seeing the change you make in their day. I must say that is the greatest achievement. I'm originally from Oklahoma.
