I have been a caregiver for more than 10 years. I'm compassionate, dependable and very friendly. I like my job because it allows me to help my clients achieve their goals, live with dignity and respect. I always treat my client the way I would like to be treated when I grow old; with love, respect and dignity.

Well I always say the good lord made me for this I have a big heart my residents always called me smiley which I try to always keep know matter how I may feel .I love the elderly there stories just putting a smile on there face ..Well the girls woukd cone get me if they couldn't understand someone because I could just knowing I helped someone and made there day better was always a good day for me .

I am an empathetic and skilled caregiver with a broad range of experience . One of my specialties is dementia care .

What makes me a good caregiver is empathy and a caring heart. What attracted me to caregiving was a need for a compassionate caregiver for a family member of my own and what a difference it made in a difficult situation. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is helping people/ families it connects me to others and their gratitude is so rewarding it lets me know I'm doing the right thing. My personal achievement that I am proud of is being a loving mother and wife to my family. I am patient, kind, dependable, and trustworthy.

I had the best example.. my grandmother has been taking care of elderly in her home for over 40 years so she taught me everything that I needed to do this job I feel like God gave me this calling. Everyone that I have taken care of I still remember them to this day. It is a privilege than on a car of a person last moment on her or the last few years.

I am a very patient and understanding person. I take time to get to know the resident or patient. I try to understand their condition and needs on a personal level, in order to find the best approach. I am a very strong and hard working individual that has a very strong love for the nursing field. I enjoy it when I gain the respect and love of the resident/Patient. I'm am proud to say that my greatest achievements is that I have always been able to maintain a positive relationship with all of my residents . As a Nurse aide I provide direct patient care in nursing homes and in other settings such as hospital long-term care wards, community rehabilitation or private home settings. Duties can include taking vital signs, assisting residents to move about the home or facility, helping them manage their meals and use bathroom facilities, transferring, turning, lifting or positioning bedridden patients, offering emotional support, rehabilitative exercises, bathing, grooming, feeding, and all other aspects of care as allowed by state laws and regulations.

I'm Courtney and I've been a Certified Nursing Assistant for 14 years in several different types of facilities as well has home care, working with all types of patients.

i have being a caregiver for 10 years ,and is my passion i love taking care of the sick and people who cannot help themselves, am very patience and loving, i love what i do because taking care of the elderly is something i have a passion for.

Growing up around elderly within my family, my Mother showed me through love and affection the way to "properly " care for this person so that once I am no longer in their care, they'll remember the effect I had on them and know that I did everything with respect, modesty & know that I put my heart and soul in thier care. Just like I did before them and how I'll do after them, being consistent or step up when ever needed!

I believe that nursing has always been my calling. You have to have a heart and soul to care for others.And I want everyone I know and take care of town know they matter and I'm there to make sure that they are well taken care of. And have all the attention needed.
