What makes me a good caregiver is empathy and a caring heart. What attracted me to caregiving was a need for a compassionate caregiver for a family member of my own and what a difference it made in a difficult situation. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is helping people/ families it connects me to others and their gratitude is so rewarding it lets me know I'm doing the right thing. My personal achievement that I am proud of is being a loving mother and wife to my family. I am patient, kind, dependable, and trustworthy.

I had the best example.. my grandmother has been taking care of elderly in her home for over 40 years so she taught me everything that I needed to do this job I feel like God gave me this calling. Everyone that I have taken care of I still remember them to this day. It is a privilege than on a car of a person last moment on her or the last few years.

I did I home health as a caregiver. I became a certified nurse aide in 2016. I have worked for many different facilities. I have also taken care of my sister for years. She is a paralyzed patient with a trake. I have experience with any type of care from mild to serious. I am very confident in myself as a caregiver. I am honest, outgoing, I work hard and I love what I do.

In the beginning of 2017 I started my first and only job as a health at for Homestead Home Healthcare where I stayed working until I moved to Lexington KY in November of 2021! I currently work at Thompson Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore, Ky. I have been there for 3 years. I am wanting to try to find something closer to home because I am having to drive over an hour one way to get to and from work. I am very outgoing, I love to be around people and make others happy. I love making my residents happy and I will go over the top to make sure they have what they need because they deserve it. If you clock in and go to work you need to do what is expected of you, and that's your job. I do not like when people half do their jobs. especially working in patient care. these are people that you are dealing with and your job needs to be taken seriously. I am very dedicated in what I do.

I am engaged to the most wonderful man and I have three beautiful step children. I've worked as a CNA for 15 years and I absolutely love what I do. I have pretty open daytime availability and I am willing to work within your budget to provide excellent care for yourself or your loved one. I became a caregiver because the memories of my beloved grandfather in his last days and how poorly he received care during those times has never left me 26 years later.
