I became a certified nursing assistant in May of 2000. I have worked in many specialties in the healthcare field which consists of med-surg, telemetry,Icu,Brain and Injury, Rehab and Pacu. I also worked in Hospice, and home health for 15 years. I am currently working towards Nursing degree.

I became a caregiver because I believe it is in my nature and I am compassionate about helping others. I like being a caregiver because no matter how hard I may work or how my day is going, it doesn't feel like work. I would like to help others by doing what I like. I am a mother of four, very energetic and friendly. I recently left my position full time for a major dialysis company in downtown Baltimore and have been in healthcare for a while and started working for Catholic Charities in May 2017, part time on the weekends. I am hoping to start nursing school fall 2017 and would prefer to work overnight Monday thru Wednesday or Thursday but I have open availability and flexibility with my schedule. My personal achievements that I'm honestly most proud of are my children. I am a Certified Nursing Assitant and Cettified Medication Technician through the Maryland Board of Nursing. I am also CPR and First Aid certified.

I am a compassionate and empathetic person, I have always loved taking care of people. I took care of both my grandparents and decided I needed to further my studies in the field of health care. I am well trained, respectful, punctual and disciplined.

I became a caregiver because I love to serve and help the needy. Before I started a job as a caregiver, I volunteered at the Pre-Ops of Sinai hospital in Baltimore forsix (6) hours, 3 days a week.I care about people, I am a very loving and caring person, full of empathy and I am learning so much in this chosen career from my clients. I am full of joy, I love to sing, read them poems and sometimes we dance together. I love to dress them up. We play cards sometime and some of them watch their favorite game show on T.V and cooking is also a delight to me. I am a great companion on my one -one cases because I love to be fulfilled at work too.

I love being a care giver because I am patient and I love seeing my clients improve and happy at the same time.

My job which entails total or partial assistance with the above activities that includes but aren't limited to assisting with house chores, activities of daily living, assistance with mobility, keeping companion, monitoring blood pressure, wieght loss or gain, checking and reporting on imput and out of fluid and planning. Purchasing, preparation and serving the client meals. All these services bring back hope, confidence or genuine smiles on clients faces and make live easy, enjoyable and comfortable until recovery or definite departure of our beloved ones. I have earned names like ( my angel or my saviour) from my clients or their beloved simblings that makes a difference in my community. The best of all is this happiness I get within myself that keep me going when I offer these services. The end results are my clients that are relieved, express happiness, joy and stay dignified with their selve esteemimal levels raised beyond bars. I am educated, honest, passionate and sociable and these traits have kept me hands on care giving for more than a decade after serving with renowned Health Care Companies around our community like Family and Nursing Care, Human Touch, The Washington Home etc .
