I became a caregiver because I believe it is in my nature and I am compassionate about helping others. I like being a caregiver because no matter how hard I may work or how my day is going, it doesn't feel like work. I would like to help others by doing what I like. I am a mother of four, very energetic and friendly. I recently left my position full time for a major dialysis company in downtown Baltimore and have been in healthcare for a while and started working for Catholic Charities in May 2017, part time on the weekends. I am hoping to start nursing school fall 2017 and would prefer to work overnight Monday thru Wednesday or Thursday but I have open availability and flexibility with my schedule. My personal achievements that I'm honestly most proud of are my children. I am a Certified Nursing Assitant and Cettified Medication Technician through the Maryland Board of Nursing. I am also CPR and First Aid certified.
I am personate about giving service to those who due to certain conditions makes them dependable and in need of support. I like care giving because it's gives me sense satisfaction serving others .As a care giver I have helped in diverse of ways to clients in providing support in activities of daily living.

I became a caregiver because I love to help others. I like the fact that I can always be there for someone else in time of need. My biggest accomplishment was finishing school for medical assisting I know that I had to take care of my family and have responsibilities so I did what I had to. I have been a care giver pretty much since i had kids. My first born was breech with 2 dislocated hips, she was in a harness the first year of her life. She had her first hip surgery at 5 and her second at 16, my middle daughter is a 15 year ALL leukemia cancer survivor, and my youngest daughter had chairi. My mom was DX in 2016 with waldenstroms macroglobulinemia and I was her care giver for 2 years. I work in Internal medicine now and 90% of my patients are elderly and I just adore them. I listen to their stories and I have so much compassion for these fragile human beings. Caring for others the way I hope to be cared for one day is a passion of mine. I do work a full time job Monday- Friday so ideally evenings or weekends would work best for me.
