Professional, Experienced,Dependable,Caring...I've been a CNA 20+ years from hospitals, home-care,hospice to schools,no job is too small or large if there's a need I can fill or fit into. My mother was an RN that owned a large senior day care that I grew up in, in her twilight years I became her caregiver so I've been on both sides of the 'caregiver' role, I know how hard it is to find a good match and how important dependability, honesty and a compassionate heart is. I've remained in this role all these years because I genuinely love history and people to me are the ultimate living walking history especially seniors. I've won many awards but I'm most proud when I'm able to bring comfort or a smile to someone. I have many references letters and awards, can provide all at interviews my hourly rate is negotiable depending on hours, I am honest, dependable, and I am one who loves her job. I became a caregiver after caring for my grandfather who had recovered from cancer, had Alzheimer and tragicaly had pass within a 2yr span after having a fall and not completely recovered. The love and comfort in just the care and knowing that I can make a difference. I love everything about being a caregiver. Learning new people, being able to care for them, spreading comfort in people's lives when they may feel like they are alone. I love to be able to help out family members in being able to get away knowing their loved ones are in good hands. After over 10+ years in this profession, I can say, I always learn something new , which is so awesome me. Its always space for learning new things so I can be a better caregiver to my clients. Now, over the years i would have to say my greatest accomplishment in doing this type of work, is learning patience. Not the, "ok let's put a fake smile on my face untill shift is over" kind of patience but the real " I know where this attitude is coming from and it's really ok " kind of patience. Honest, responsible and client-focused CNA with exceptional patient care and service skills dedication to patients well-being. Skilled in commununicating, establishing a rapport with eliciting patient cooperation. Unwavering commitment to client care, comfort, well-being and quality of life. I have cared for patients with dementia, stroke, paralysis, bed bound, total care, feeding tube, foley, wound care, bed sores, transferring, range of motion, cooking, cleaning, errands and doctors appointments, medications and activities of daily living over 15 years experience and numerous references I am the best I love what I do for others.
