I'm a care giver because I have the passion to be there for others who need me and want company of someone who cares and who will be there for them at all times. I became a caregiver because I always had it in my heart to be there for others and I would like for my mom to be treated special the same way I will treat all family members I take care of. I used to also work in a nursing home for 13 years and I was a family member a friend and someone to listen and make them all smile and laugh and to make them feel special and loved

I'm a hard worker, compassionate, take initiative and go beyond to get the job done, great communication skills, flexible, honest and a pleasant personality. Always aware of the physical and emotional needs of this in my care. What attracted me to being a caregiver, when my grandma passed away, I knew that my grandfather was lonely and needed some assistance in his care. I started reading his mail to him, taking him around to his appointments, shopping, cleaning his home and just keeping him company and I knew from there that I wanted to help anyone in need. A neighbor had Cerebral Palsy and she was getting worse. She needed help with transportation to her appointments and shopping, cleaning her apartment. Being a great companion, caring, communicating with elderly when necessary and having a lot of patience.

Hi. I am what they consider a vet in the medical field. I started out taking care of my grandmother at the age of 14. Doing so gave me this since of honor and love. It also sparked my interest in helping others throughout my years. I have worked with dementia, hospice, disabilities, given showers, cleaned clothes and etc. I was a certified CNA and STNA in two different states with high honor. I am now med certified and also a Behavior Technician.

I've been a caregiver for over 18+ yrs. I became a caregiver because I love working with the elderly. They have great stories and they remember everything from there childhood. I've been a lead STNA 6 times. Employee of the month Several times. I've worked in nursing homes, home health care, private duty, and memory care unit.

I am very patient, caring and compassionate. I first got started in the caregiving business when my late best friend came to me with luekemia and wanted to spend the rest of his time at home and did not want any strangers with him. At that time I was in my first year of college but I was already interested in caregiving because of my chosen career path of nursing so I became a STNA.

I became a caregiver because I have a passion for working with others and I enjoy helping the elderly. I most enjoy providing care for patients/residents and helping them get their health back and being able to put a smile on their face. A personal achievement that I am proud of is that I got my GED. Far as me I have been an STNA for seven years, I have done home health for 2 1/2 years. I have my CPR and I have experience in customer service so I do have very good communication skills as well.

I have been working in healthcare since I was in high school. I love caring for and assisting people. I fill my free time with volunteer work, coaching cheerleading and gymnastics, being the room parent at my daughter's school, and activities at the American Legion. I'm laid back and patient, which seems to fit well with home healthcare. Also, I just returned from volunteer work in Jamaica. It's definitely my calling to work with people!
