I am the bubbly personality that loves to interact with whoever I provide services for. I do not play in my cell phone. I have been a CNA for almost 16 years and I am slowly on my way to achieving my associates for RN. I have two adorable dogs and I am fostering another puppy at the moment. I love animals and gardening. I do not have children. My transportation is reliable. I love to care for people, as the reward is in itself. The feeling you get knowing you made a difference in someone's life is priceless. I wear my heart on my sleeve! Most experience is with Autism, Cerebral Palsey, Alzheimer's and Dementia, as well as Multiple Sclerosis. I have ventilation experience and GI feedings. Experienced with medication administration. CPR certification is up to date, as well as my certification.

(2) Why did I become a caregiver: When i was in my early twenties I had got a job in activities in a Nursing Facility and realized this was my passion. Then became a Cna/ Gna. I enjoy caring for others. (3) What do I like about being a caregiver: I like being a caregiver because it makes me feel good to know that I'm having a positive impact caring for someone .

I am a great caregiver because I treat my clients male, or female, as if he, or she, are one of my family members. No there's no limits to my care, I will always go above and beyond. I've changed a lot of live, I also have saved lives, with in the past fourteen years I've been in this field. I became a caregiver because of several family members are in the same field, my mom is an registered nurse, going on 35 years, my grandmother was a LPN, and my aunts are CNA. So it deep rooted, so to speak.

I became a nurse in 1998. I started in nursing facilities. I have worked part time in a family doctors office, ER setting. My most rewarding job is Private care. To be able to provide one on one is so beautiful. To be needed is such a great blessing. I have experience in most diseases and illnesses. I worked with ALS, Heart Failures, Cancers, Alzheimer's, Dementia, Skin Conditions, Vision Loss. Wellness is very important to me. So I always try to incorporate healthy eating habits and healthy life style to those I care for. We are surrounded by to much negativity so being a small positive in someone's life is a beautiful gift.

My personality traits that make me a fantastic care giver is that I am honest kind respectful I take responsibility I am compassionate I have patience I adapt easily I am sympathetic and I love to help. What attracted me to caregiver is just being able to help other people who can't help there self not only that I took care of my grandmother for 2 years care giving is not for everyone but it's the perfect job for me. An personal achievement that I am proud of is my kids getting into this field and furthering my education in this field.

Hi my name is Katiy pronounced Katie but with a Y. Yes it's different. I am 30 years old almost 31 and a single parent of a 14 year old girl. Yes I was young but it made me grow up and mature and be responsible at a young age and it molded me into the person I am today. I'm originally from Cumberland MD. I have been living in littlestown PA since June 2021 so I'm still getting familiar with the area so thank goodness for GPS. I am a happy outgoing person who tries to look at the positive in every situation. I was raised by my grandmother be herself who passed in 2009 from cancer. Well she decided she didn't want to pass in the hospital and wanted to be home so we hired hospice. I also decided I would move back in with her and take care or her like she did me. And I did. The sicker she got I changed her and bathed her and took care of the house and dog for her. I made sure she got her medication every day and at night I always put on her favorite movie and we would sit and watch it together. The hospice nurse that came always told me what a great job I was doing and I should go into the healthcare field. I always wanted to go back to college and become a nurse but things didn't work out that way. Yet. Instead I started working in nursing homes as housekeeping or laundry then went to dietary so I learned the difference in residents diets . I just took in all the information I could. I overthink everything and pay attention to every detail no matter how small. I got my first caregiver job last year. I loved working with residents and providing them the care they could no longer give themselves and I love putting a smile on there face. Then I got my med tech certification. So now I administer medication and also make sure they have a smile on there face everyday. I am responsible, caring, outgoing, and love what I do. I always treat my residents with the love and care they deserve and I treat them how I would want someone to treat my grandmother if wasn't there.
